Spider Monkey Panels are a nice addition too. Recently found Flowin plugin which is really nice to make a separate 'small' player that i keep on the side to quickly switch songs:
since DefaultUI was introduced, i found it pretty easy to configure the layout to your needs, although it isn't as pretty as some more super customized ones, it just does the job and uses 60-100MB memory, granted i don't have a gigantic library at 9k-ish tracks.
tried other players but always came back to Foobar2000, MusicBee player is really close but i could not get used to the layout and can't change the interface/behavior to what i was used to. I've been using it since on Windows XP i think.
